Click the Menu Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur.
Enter 3 pixels and click ok to blur the white.
Change this layers Blend mode from Normal to Overlay.(select Overlay
from the dropdown menu in the Layers pallet) .
Now merge the two layers together. Ctrl-E.

Select the layer Body by Ctrl-Left mouse click in the
layer pallet.
Click the Menu Select>Modify>Contract.
Contract by 3 pixels. Click ok.
Click the Menu Select>Feather (Alt+Ctrl+D)
Enter 1. Ok
Hit Backspace to delete the selection.
Deselect the selection Ctrl-D.
If you see a line in the bottom of the glass, don't worry about it
we will clean that up soon. See image.
Cutting out the Top and Bottom.
We are going to use basically the same technique as we did for the
Body except one small detail or two.
Click on the Top layer in the layer pallet.
Select the layer Top by Ctrl-Left mouse click in the layer pallet
to put a selection around the ellipse.
Click the Menu Select>Modify>Contract.
Contract by 2 pixels. Click ok.
Create a new layer by clicking on the New Layer icon at the bottom
of the Layers pallet.
Press Alt-Backspace to fill the selection with white.
Deselect the selection Ctrl-D.
